Terms and Conditions

1. Parties bookings require a deposit of £45.00 to secure the requested time slot and date. This deposit is only refundable if we receive 14 days notice AND we are able to re-let the party slot. However, with a minimum of 14 days notice an alternative party slot can be booked and the deposit utilised if the new party day is within 365 calendar days of the date of the original party. Please let us know by email (jigsawgyms@gmail.com) if you wish to rearrange your party date or cancel the booking. We will confirm by email and this must be retained as proof.
2. No show - If a deposit is paid and we do not receive written notice of cancellation we assume the party will proceed. If the party is a no show, we reserve the right to invoice the booking person for the full amount due as if the had party proceeded.
3. Jigsaw Gyms Ltd does not accept liability for loses incurred or inconvenience caused by cancellation of the party due to circumstances beyond our control. These include but are not limited to fire, flood, riot or civil commotion, disease, wind damage, malfunction of heating or lighting, damage to the structure, staff illness, criminal damage, act of God, severe weather events etc. In the exceptional event we need to cancel your party any deposit paid will be refunded.
4. All children must be supervised by a person of 18 years or over. Jigsaw Gyms Ltd staff are not employed as "attendants" so the behaviour of children in complying with the rules of safe play is that.of the supervising adult. See unacceptable behaviour below.
5. Adults or children must not leave hot drinks or food unattended at any time.
6. No foodstuffs or drinks are allowed within the play structure or Sensory Room.
7. Valuables should not be left unattended and Jigsaw Gyms Ltd accepts no liability from loss or damage to personal property or theft of (including attempted theft) or damage to vehicles using our car park.
8. Adults entering the structure to assist children must be mindful the design is aimed at children of 11 years or younger. Some areas may be difficult to reach and if in doubt, assistance from a member of staff shall be sought.
9. No joint parties are permitted, other than siblings from the same family. This is to ensure sufficient parking and room for adult guests is held at a manageable level.
10. No alcohol, no smoking, no vaping or taking of illicit drugs are allowed on the premises.
11. All persons using play equipment must wear well fitting socks.
12. Staff have been instructed not to tolerate abusive behaviour from guests including swearing, aggression or threats. Such behaviour may lead to termination of the event and involvement of the authorities. This includes behaviour of guests towards each other as well as towards staff.
13. Payment of the balance due must be made in cash or by card at the end of the party. For the purposes of the Theft Act 1978 S.3 payment for goods and services provided by Jigsaw Gyms Ltd is required "on the spot". That means before the person responsible for payment of his agent has left the premises. Any breach of this requirement may constitute a criminal offence and shall be reported in all cases to the police. Jigsaw Gyms Ltd will also pursue the client for any consequential loss.
